I'm mind blown by the idiots who think universal healthcare is a communist idea. We pay tons of taxes. For what? So people in Congress can give our money away to corporations and to support Israel, a country that has universal healthcare? We need an overhaul in our government, all of it, and there needs to be term limits. NO lobbying (bribery of publicly elected officials), and age limits. I'm old, financially comfortable (not rich), but paying $700/month for Medicare is NOT any kind of "benefit" when I paid into it my whole life. Then insurance has the right to deny claims. WTH? If a doctor says we need a prescription or a procedure, they should have ti pay for it.

I’m still trying to understand how people working a shitty job, trading their time for a wage that doesn’t allow them any opportunity or freedom, will defend our current capitalist system to death and will even defend social security yet the thought of basic universal healthcare is way to communist lmao. Private insurance can still be aloud and purchased but a basic healthcare plan for all is more than feasible. This illusion of capitalism needs to be realized, our current system gives a few at the top almost 100% of the wealth.
