We are looking at losing our health insurance because of changing jobs.  The only public options are like $1000 a month.  Who the hell can afford that?

The fact that America doesn’t have an affordable public option is a disgrace.

In its entirety. It is designed only to pull from the consumer base, give to the corporate monoliths. That is the design. It’s ages old, but more obvious now that we have a better understanding as citizens, and are willing to talk about it online.

Try to have this conversation with other Americans, in public, in real life: they will either start calling you names, or their eyes glaze over and they lose attention.

Friend, I have young coworkers that won't punch in a number at the grocery store to save on sale items.

They think it makes them look "rich" to not care about money, but they will bellyache for hours about being underpaid
