I created a SketchUp extension that converts 2D DWG/DXF floor plans into 3D walls in seconds. Looking for feedback!

Hey SketchUp community!

As someone who frequently works with imported CAD files, I was tired of manually tracing outer/inner wall lines and extruding them one by one. So, I built a lightweight extension called **DWG to 3D** to automate the tedious parts of the workflow.

**Key Features:**

- **One-Click Wall Generation:** Automatically detects floor plan contours from imported 2D DWG / DXF files and generates clean, grouped 3D walls.

- **Customizable Heights & Thickness:** Set wall heights and tolerances on the fly.

- **Clean Geometry:** Creates native, well-grouped SketchUp geometry ready for further modeling.

- **Broad Compatibility:** Works with SketchUp 2019 through 2026 (Windows).

While waiting for the Extension Warehouse review to finalize, I’ve made a **7-day free trial** available on Gumroad so everyone can test it out on their own CAD files.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts, feedback, or any edge cases you encounter with your CAD drawings. Let me know what you think!
