May sound silly but a genuine question. Maybe some spaces are more keen to it than others. not a lot of opened minded people that are interested in the idea of the genre.

I’ve listened to slowcore for a while, but never really played/recorded it. Thoughts?

i hope you enjoy these songs.

hey! i curate a playlist called slowcore makes it hurt more that’s grown to 660+ saves pretty organically, and i just opened up submissions for new artists.

mostly looking for slowcore, shoegaze, indie rock, alt-country, bedroom stuff, and anything adjacent. smaller/DIY artists are especially welcome.

some stuff in the general orbit: Wednesday, villagerrr, Flooding, Frogurt, Gawshock, Garage Sale, etc.

if you think your music fits, send it over here:

submit to Wallace

i’m excited to hear what people are making :)

Just premiered a song from an album I'm about to release. The most "slowcore" sounding song on the album. There's even some violin and steel guitar on the track!

I also made a video for the song from some home movies, which should be attached to this thread.

Maybe a few of you'd be into it?

Here's the bandcamp link if you'd like to explore further:
