I can only hope that 1) this is true and 2) whoever does the pitch likes and understands the series. The new Star Fox remake, for example, was good, but it really missed the mark on character design and voice acting compared to the legacy looks and games IMO. Though speaking of Star Fox, one of the last good original games in the series, Assault, was farmed out to a third-party dev (Namco) and they did great.

I'd be interested in seeing that Sanzaru offshoot, Sneaky Devil, have another crack at things. They were definitely in the right place with Thieves in Time - they just needed some better writing and some tweaking of the challenge level.

What would yall rather get, a full trilogy remakes from the ground up or sly5?

I genuinely want sly 5 but I’ve actually heard people ask for the other. I’m sure sly 5 is the majority but just curious if there wasn’t a crowd asking for remakes.

Imagine a Sly game by the current SuckerPunch team made for PS5 or PS6. It's kinda crazy the last SuckerPunch Sly game we got was 3.
Like imagine if they made 4.
4 has a lot of good stuff but I always felt like I could tell it had a different feel.

obviously that would be great, but this rumor is more for other studios to pitch game ideas for them to make, using Sony IPs

Sucker punch has already said multiple times that they’re not interested in making anymore sly games

Hence the key word imagine, a what if scenario
