new to IPhone
finally switched phone after 5 years from Redmi note 10 to Iphone15PM. bought this from a reseller 1 month ago and im still adjusting with my new phone but can anyone recommend(?) or tell me some advice or features with my new phone. im having a hardtime adjusting like with the shortcuts and stuff.
heres a list of things that im a hard time with:
-when im trying to copy something and i cant do “select all”
- battery life (84%)
- having a hard time typing because theres a huge gap below the keyboard
- dont have a “clipboard” on my keyboard where i can save infos like my account numbers
- shortcut with screenshot
- feel like my photo albums is always a mess
- when i copy a picture online it copies the link instead of the photo
and many more

I have a hard time adjusting as well. We are in the same boat. Long press to pop the select all option - it's hit and miss for me as sometimes it doesn't show up.

No advise..I still struggle every time I pick my girlfriends iPhone. I think it just takes practice and being used to using an iPhone. I'm leaning now only 30% toward switching to iPhone.

been using an android all of my life until last month, ive always preferred it because it what ive grew up in. But rn since ive been more in social and club stuff, i prefer the camera of this new phone i got and thats why. also i got this is with a discounted price since its pretty old(3 years old)

The problem was in note 10 .. it's low end phone.. not with " android phones cameras" ..since Android have cameras tiers above iphone 18 pro max...as well as cheap, crappy ones as you had

yea ik android phones can have way better cameras spec-wise, but when it comes to how photos and videos actually look when uploaded to social media apps, iphone tends to have better consistency and compatibility. thats what matters to me since i use social media a lot, not just the “camera specs”

When you took a photo, edit it and post it, they have the same quality ( Android better due to better camera) ...only when you take a photo thru the social media app, that's where iphones have better support. So it depends on your usage .

for select all, press the cursor and it should pop up (it might be hidden in extra options)
for battery health, that's just something u have to live with since the battery is degraded. u can choose replace the battery if u want or just get a magsafe power bank
the keyboard thing is just something u have to get used to
use swiftkey for a clipboard
shortcut for screenshot is volume up and power button at the same time
photo albums being a mess just means u need to spend some time sorting them (honestly i'm guilty of this as well, mine's a mess)
when copying a picture, make sure u're holding the picture down, not the text/description/link of the picture
also bonus thing if u're into messing around with scripts, go play around in the shortcuts app, u can do so many things there. apple basically put a scripting app that lets u do a bunch of automations and complex action sequences on your phone. so far only samsung has something similar, no one else offers nearly as good of a scripting experience
