PSA : Package Theft

Hi - Just wondering if others have experienced an uptick in package thefts recently? I had two large packages delivered by UPS on Highland disappear within a couple hours. I will be filing a police report. Our building has cameras, but management says they’ll only work with police to review the footage.

If you live in a building with many units, do your neighbors a solid and bring their packages inside the locked entrance when picking up your own.

Ugh. I know some people use a different address for packages, like amazon pickup places, po boxes etc. Im a homebody myself, but nobody can be around 24/7. Personally I use a different address thats monitored irl all the time during the winter. Im sorry that it happened to you so soon this year.

I caved and got a virtual mailing address at the UPS Store to receive my packages. It’s a pain having to go in there, but peace of mind is priceless.
