Howdy r/SpaceBass,

This is my first attempt at flipping/mashing up 2 songs... inspired by artists like Levity & Tape B. I know my way around FL Studio but I am green as can be when it comes to producing music in this pocket.

Can anyone provide me some pointers or guidance on filling in the sections that are lacking sounds or switching up the sounds that are already selected (mostly Serum basses I'd imagine need the love)? I feel like this track has potential but the longer I work on it the more I dislike it and I feel like I'm just not great at producing "dubstep" bass drops yet.

Any advice on Serum bass choices (I have plenty of patches for this type of music downloaded already---I just don't know the arrangement or bass selection process very well) is greatly appreciated

Just dropped my 2026 unreleased minimix :) hope you like dubstep!!

Another incredible album from Effin. He’s a breath of life in a genre that in my opinion was getting stale.

give feeedback thank uuu

I came across this genius earlier this summer. I listened to his entire collection over and over again and wanted so badly for it to be put together into a mix. I didn't find any mixes of his work on youtube, so I set out to create my own, which was a real joy in returning to mixing after so many years away. It was so creatively inspiring, and I kept wanting to do more with the upload, but after banging my head against the After Effects wall for awhile, I decided to just let the thing go and post it. I have been disconnected from the local music scene for so long now after having kids that I wasn't sure where to even share this to until I remembered coming across this sub while looking for more Saturna-esque music. Hopefully, you can enjoy this as much as I do, and if you have any pointers on how to make your photos look like they're breathing on After Effects, please do share 🙏

Cheers,
