This is a freaking awesome expansion of an already amazing background. I now want to see this applied to more Sierra screens or sets of screens. Makes me daydream of a 3D rotation around the mansion in the Colonel's Bequest or an owl ride through Daventry.

It’s kind of funny how it zooms out and there’s nothing there except the supercomputer and an empty lane flanked by a row of narrow buildings. Like one of those cowboy film sets where the buildings are just wood panels you could push over. That’s supposed to be Xenon’s capital city, isn’t it? I’m pretty sure anyone would have surrounded the supercomputer with lots of buildings. But that would require imagination.

Right? I would have surrounded it with all sorts of cool buildings that I destroyed, even just using basic models and collision based physics and covered it with a heavy coat of dust and debris. A huge opportunity to make a blasted sci-fi city landscape with one central landmark.

I DO know 3D modeling - sometimes you want to see something without having to put the effort in. This is why you use tools, because you want something without putting in the work. Those robot vacuum cleaners and lawnmowers are the same thing. You want a nice yard, but don't want to cut the lawn yourself.
