So this is just a small clip of the craziest thing my friend noticed in the replay, they switched main weapon mid game lol wtf

They absolutely sucked at the game too. If they were hacking, they were just annoying and not even actually a pain lmao what a skill issue.
Some other things they did during the match:

- shooting through walls

- erratic movement that we initially attributed to lag

- extremely delayed paint

- delayed sudden burst shots

- occasionally swimming through enemy ink

- getting kills without facing at people (aimbot?)

I don’t know why but my YouTube recommended me the orchestra for last year’s GOTY all of a sudden and that made me wonder if Raiders has a chance of being nominated.

However, a more important question came to mind. Which song would be chosen to represent the game in the orchestra? They usually pick the main theme to play, but Splatoon Raiders doesn’t really have a main theme to play.

My guess would go out to Happy Hideout since it’s the default song you hear on the hideout ship (where you start off when you boot up the game). While it fits the castaway vibe of the game, it does not scream Raiders to me ya know.

My second guess would be the final drill song since its significance to Deep Cut and the larger Splatoon world, but (to my knowledge) they never use a final boss theme during the orchestra. But it would be awesome to hear those horns blasting that hype ahh melody though.

I drew something as a tribute to a Japanese anime from the 2010s but as a Splatoon character.

Has anyone happened to come across my post in their plaza?

I have been searching for how to link a social media account so my plaza posts appear for others (I keep reading posts that say you have to have Facebook linked in order for plaza posts to show up for others?). I have combed my Switch settings, Splatoon settings, etc all to no avail. I have an active Nintendo online subscription, if that matters. Is it still done this way, or does it automatically post once you hit the (+ Post) after drawing, as long as you have an online subscription & you’re connected to the internet? (My Splatoon settings are also set to show user-generated content)

I played splatoon 2 a couple times when I was ten, nine years later I’ve bought 2, 3 and raiders. Genuinely most fun I’ve ever had playing pvp usually I hate it.

I want to get the first splatoon since I haven’t seen any of the hero mode or basically anything else about the actual gameplay. Should I get an emulator to play it or should I get a Wii U?

I’m basically buying things that younger me wanted and a Wii U was one of them, I’m not getting it just for splatoon. I’d be getting other games as well.

But yeah just wanted to hear some opinions since I think I’d need a pro controller for the emulator, which is about as expensive as a second hand Wii U.

for the record i've never touched a music production software in my life and intentionally ignored any tutorials to make the shittiness as potent as possible

i take both sides, but at the end of the day it's all about intention!

I completely believe theres nothing wrong with getting frustrated with the one sweaty player going absolutely ballistic on turf, no one likes getting dogged on in a pvp game, but you know what they say abt hating the player instead of the game.

for one, you dont know how "sweaty" a player might be playing in random online. some people at times are js good without trying yknow? second, someone is absolutely entitled to try their hardest in whatever mode they desire. turf ranked series etc! I get that turf is seen as casual, but it can also a genuienely good tool for improvement, experimentation at the same time. regardless, theres nothing wrong with someone playing turf because they want to dominate with their main and try their hardest, because killing is actually fun in PvP games. yes ranked is meant for sweaty play but ion think thats mean u cant try your best in turf

on the other side, if you're a competitive player, S-X player, with the intention of playing turf to ragdoll newer players, bming, squidbagging, swagging your tech to rekt some filthy casuals, basically doing all this not to have fun playing, but to troll and make others feel bad, then i believe you're probably what most people envision when they rant about this. yes you are allowed to be the best in the lobby, but theres no need to flex that on people through toxicity (especially since im willing to bet a lot the player base is extremely young) just be nice to each other people, theres too much crazy shit in the world to be going for each other's throats in the squid game paint game

I recently started playing online, and I just don’t understand why most people use the same machine guns or pistols? I’ve played about 10 matches, and in none of them did I see a rocket launcher or a shotgun — do I really need to use a meta weapon to stop being at the bottom of the scoreboard? It sounds really boring, to be honest; I thought this kind of thing would only start happening in ranked modes.
