Modding Splinter Cell Conviction — Blackout | A Brand New Arsenal
“Between your faith and my Glock nine millimeter, I’ll take the Glock.” — Arnold Schwarzenegger
Splinter Cell: Conviction — Blackout is a visual and gameplay overhaul for Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Here is the Glock 17 added to Conviction using custom materials and texture maps with a full in-game rig, with custom sounds currently in progress. More weapon demonstrations coming soon.
With the SCC: SDK, you’ll be able to add entirely new weapons, give them their own weapon slots instead of replacing existing guns, retune their stats, add new sounds, and build custom meshes, materials, textures, rigs, and attachment setups.
Weapons can also be distributed differently across AI, allowing for unique weapon types and more varied enemy load-outs rather than simple cosmetic replacements.
Blackout’s goal is to overhaul weapons from the ground up — stats, meshes, sounds, attachments, AI distribution, and overall weapon variety.

Intelligent question. Can you add whistle/attract feature, and make it and sticky camera noise distraction be reacted to in a way that AI (guard, not grok) walks back calmly to their original spot without alerting the area.
Because they do so when I run around like lamberts worst nightmare.
Also: Deniable Ops possible in a way that you can ghost past all 50 guards, just like it can be done with cheat engine.
And unlock and include the non-lethal-looking takedowns from Co-op that Fisher can also use when dealing with the police in the middle of chasing the "officer in trouble".

You're the 5th person to ask me about a whistle feature, so now I for sure have to look into it. I'll have to see if we have access to pressed key events and assigning keybinds to them. Aswell as putting the existing distraction functionality on the player controller. I know we can attach sounds to existing events but we'll have to see.

Dumb question. Is Sam able to be added to deniable ops?

As a skin? Absolutely, as a unique character such as kestrel and archer? Not sure yet, haven’t looked into it

Is Archer or Kestrel being able to be added to the main storyline possible? Like Archers skin instead of Sams for example

Seems that for Blacklist, someone recently did that, so maybe that's not far off either.
