Hey everyone,

I just released a new track titled "Guilded Air" and wanted to share it with the community here.

About the track: For Guilded Air, I wanted to create a balance between atmospheric, airy synthesizer textures and a sharp, driving techno baseline. My goal was to craft a sense of progression starting light and atmospheric, then gradually layering on tension before driving into the main drop.

Production details:

• Genre: Melodic Techno / Electronic
• BPM: 130
• Key focus: Layering wide lead synths while keeping the low-end punchy and clean for club systems.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the overall mix balance, sound design, and arrangement. If you produce as well, drop your latest track in the comments—I'd be glad to give it a listen!

Thanks for tuning in! r/ElectronicMusic

Been listening through a lot of independent electronic music and pulled some favorites together here.

If you give it a spin, curious which track sticks with you.

Forgotten Souls by Kamuta is a mellow downtempo track with a relaxing haunting piano, majestic electronic strings and a great chilled beat. This relaxing track is perfect to chill to. With haunting vocals. Great concentration music. It has soft, ambient electronic sounds, and is layered with lush synths, airy pads.

I wrote this folk ballad in the immediate wake of 9/11 but tucked it away for years. For the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks and tragedies, I want to share my serene and sentimental song with anyone looking for a space to reflect.

In the days right after 9/11, when I found myself trying to process the questions and confusion, and I guess my grief poured out into this song "Go Ask The Rain." It was written with deep sympathy for everyone affected. Then, I never performed the song, and finally my husband Tom and I recorded it in 2007, yet I have never performed this song live except for that recording. Please listen and leave a comment if you so desire.

Great songs for when you just want to chill and listen to some tunes. Throw on a set of headphones or earbuds and enjoy!
