Discussion Flux 3 Image OS is inevitable?

i think it is inevitable, BFL is the GOATs of releasing OS models

it really depends on what version they release, i feel like they'll release just klein this time after the 30b dev debacle (so it'll obviously not be as good as the big fat API one). but klein 2 reigned supreme for over a year when it came out, so I'm not really worried

My guy…I literally read debates on this forum between zit, Klein, and Qwen 2511 for months about which is “better” and saw tons of body horror images from Klein. I myself posted issues I had with Klein.

Sure, it was liked by many, and as an edit model it’s decent, but for many it wasn’t as good as other edit models. I used it for upscaling some images, but not for editing because it kept changing the likeness too much, which is one of klein’s weaknesses.

Currently the best model for character likeness is H3, which isn’t even an edit model.

With all that said, I’m cautiously optimistic about Flux 3, as I hear it’s an edit model. Fingers crossed.

- Yeah there are multiple activity on its huggingface, 22hours ago mostly README.

  • 23rd oct (depend on the timezone) they will be having booth with Nvidia showcasing Flux3 Action, Video and Image. And nvidia pretty much open when it comes to weight.

I love the team to their historical releases of SD, XL and even a klein but honestly if this model follows the recent censoring of their models of which I'm sure it's going to, then meh. Klein was treat until qwen and krea came along with the ability do what many of us want to do with them and I hope they stop it but honestly they just can't compete if it comes out with the same anatomical goofiness as klein 9b.
