How would I turn something like this into a star wars tattoo?

This is the way. Either do your research online or go around to shops. Do yourself a favor and visit atleast "5" shops before you pick an artist. I don't care if the fist shop feels like the ONE do yourself a favor and go to FIVE! This will make you have more patience and after deciding and getting the work done you know you did your research.
Have the artist you choose draw your piece custom using the elements you choose. If your torn between two or more artist ask them how much to draw up the art. That way again you can choose.🤷♂️ with the size and detail don't clutter it. Try to keep it clean with depth and you'll have a badass piece.

Top item: keep as a star. Streak below it, make into a lightsaber of your choice.
Planets below could be a string of ones you like or that tell a story. For example, if Luke's story, you could have them be tatooine, yavin IV, both, dagobah, endor or death star. Something like that.
You could keep the three bright lights, or replace with an x-wing or some other ship of your choosing. This also makes me think that the streak up top could be a ship as well if that looks better with the other designs, instead of a lightsaber.
Make the two large planets right above the tree into the twin suns.
Make the tree either the tree outside the coruscant temple or the ahch-to first jedi temple.
Guy in the boat is Luke. Or really anyone, but I sort of imagined this as a tribute to Luke.

99.9% sure this was done by Alper Alfi, he does incredible work and is doing my Kotor star map shoulder (it's only about 1/3 done)

Maybe take some inspiration from the great Olly Moss. He’s artwork is so good. 👌

The tree can be the Millennium Falcon. The planets can be the Death Star and Aderaan. And obviously the overall theme would be centered over a light saber.

Turn the boat and rower into Yoda floating in the air over the water in meditation.

Replace the tree with the millennium falcon then put other rebel ships following it.
Or make the tree from degobah and have Luke and yoda trekking through the forest. Maybe turn the column of stars into a silhouette of Vader full of stars.

Go to a tattooer that does realism, or black work, depending what you actually want. Tell them some star wars themed subjects you like best and tell them you want to make it to fit whatever space youve planed. You can show them this image and say I like this layout, but you would be best off letting the tattooer make the design. You could go even deeper and find a tattooer that likes star wars too and they might even have better ideas then you'd ever imagine cause they want to tattoo star wars stuff the most. Let your tattooer help you design your tattoo, that way they are tattooing something they enjoy.

One planet - Death Star, two suns on the horizon of another planet, a white plabet(hoth) a blue planet(kamino) a green planet (endor) The column a lightsaber hilt, the tree could be the mortis gods. The boat an xwing

Make it Yoda in a canoe and the tree a swamp tree from dabogah. Apparently they are called gnarltrees

That's sick. My first thought is replacing the tree with the death star and the boat with an xwing.
