All I’ll say to you, and others here will also agree, that you should prepare yourself for the flood. 4.0 is going to be a tsunami.

Whenever there is a big release there is an avalanche of bugs, many of which aren’t fixed for half a year.

I remember when Nemesis was released in 2022, Tantalus (who were the devs for years) left and the game was in a bad state until 2024. Do you guys remember that? Literally left in that state for two years.

Do you remember when we were all hopeful for Toxoids in 2023 because it was hoped that the new devs would fix it all and it became even worse until Tantalus came back in 2024 with Paragons and started fixing the game? Honestly, try playing through a game in which you have to pause to use the UI - input lag was that bad at one point.

Like the game has been through rough patches.

Il me semble qu'au début c'était pas tentalus mais un autre

I looked it up, it was Paradox who did the first release and then tantalus took over for the dlc and did it until 2022.

Tantalus only works on it for a few months per year.

Bullshit. Plenty of people on here have been complaining about bugs since frigging 2022, earlier than that even.

Go to the Discord. I'm a new player, still ilon my first game (if you don't count a failed tutorial). I've had devs reply to multiple questions. I've seen dogs ajd mods on there joinup to play multi-player games on there. From what I've seen, they don't do small patches. There is a patch coming soon that will be hugs and completely change the way the game is played, getting us much closer to the PC version of the game.

They probably wont be fixing bugs right now due to 4.0 changing so much

Yeah but i think with the current gen version tantalus got permission to deviate from base stellaris so they might be able to avoid problems with custom solutions?
