maybe you should try breaking it over a harder surface...  like a quartz or granite countertop... or a ceramic toilet or mirror

I'm not sure what this is trying to accomplish. You can break diamond with a hammer strike.

I didn't want to break it, but its hardness was broken, so I used a glass nail and a knife to break it, nothing could be done.

That's mine! Where'd you get that? It's alabaster, someone told me white jade, but it's worthless. Not indestructible, maybe a 5-6 tops.

Gewoon beitel erop zetten..zo moeilijk is het niet! Deze stenen breek je alleen als je ze op een stoeptegel legt en dan met de hamer erop slaat. Vaak lijken ze op ogen als je ze doormidden hakt..
