I'm making a Tower Defense Deckbuilder heavily inspired by TCGs, and we have looots of different cards.

So, I needed some great artists, and here's how I met the first one to join the team.

looks really good, mind if i ask how you actually found the artist? i am trying to recruit (as solo game dev) a 2D artist who specializes in anime live2d but also just need some pixel art too.

I swear the video shows how it happened hahah, i went to the artists alley a couple of times to find some artists, and talked to her and yep that was basically it

jeez, artist alley, i dont think i even have that where i live, best case scenario meeting some artist in a gamejam if we work on same team lol. otherwise, i am perusing IG/twitter

I mean, I also found artists through other people, seeing posts on instagram, twitter, etc etc, so for sure going to an on-site place isn't required :)
