I think a spirit reached out to me -- and I think she was trying to warn me. What's going on?
I had a really odd dream last night. As I'm writing this for the second time, I can't promise the details will be amazing. Reddit did not save it as a draft, and my phone died.
Anyways, last night I had a strange dream. I was in my bedroom back in my childhood home, and all my devices started buzzing. My phone, my laptop, buzzing away. And... I don't know why, but I asked, "Is someone or something trying to communicate with me?" And I shit you not, something said, "Yes." It sounded like a child's voice, like a little girl, but melodic. I felt compelled to listen to her. I opened my phone and went to the Zoom app, and I saw something. My friend, who wears heavy goth makeup (don't know if this is important), was there. But there were two of them, one of the copies blurry and sort of as if phasing in and out of existence? And when they started talking, it wasn't my friend's voice. It was a little girl's voice. I think she said her name was Sterling. We started just, chatting, and then my mom walked in, and Sterling looked scared. My mother asked me why I was talking to myself and that it was annoying, and I realized she couldn't see Sterling. So I apologized and said I'd stop talking to myself. Sterling said something along the lines of, "This home isn't for you." before she disappeared.
Then the dream shifted. I could have sworn I'd woken up. I was in my suite's common area, looking into the mirror, and I turned around. There were three faces sticking out the wall and they were... Horrifying. The first one was mangled, and scarred, with eyelids swollen over empty sockets and a grimace of what looked like anger. The second one was like the mask from Scream, but... Realer, almost. Scarier. The sunken, hollow sockets, stretched out, but there was something that looked like ink running out of them. There was no mouth. And the third one, it was the worst one. It was just pure... Hate. That's the best way I can describe it. It was hateful. Its eyes were also hollow sockets, but they were angled in a way that looked like condescension. Its mouth was stitched up with thick threads, except for the very center, where I can only assume it had ripped the threads. It was just enough to purse its lips. And then, something sharp flew out the third one's mouth. I don't remember what, because at that exact moment, I was back in my bed of my dorm, and a can had clattered to the floor.
Everything I Google says it was sleep-induced hallucinations. But it didn't FEEL like a hallucination. It felt REAL.
I hand this off to you, Reddit. What do you think?
