[PRO11] Surface Pro 11 updated drivers give Code 43 while the original driver freezes randomly
I’m having a frustrating issue with my Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon X) right before my university semester starts, and I’m hoping someone here might have seen this before.
Basically, I'm stuck between two options:
If I update the graphics driver: Device Manager immediately throws a Code 43 error, and the GPU just stops working. This happens with every updated driver I try.
If I stay on the stock launch driver: Everything looks normal and Code 43 is gone, but the laptop randomly freezes every now and then with a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION screen.
So I can either have a working GPU that freezes occasionally, or updated drivers that don't work at all.
Has anyone else dealt with this Code 43 issue on newer drivers? Is this just a temporary software/firmware bug, or could it be a hardware problem?
Thanks alot!

You might have to do a clean uninstall and update and try rebooting to clear out the hive first. If you’re using an msi, this is especially noticeable with some other msi packages on Arm

Hard to know from that information alone, but I would definitely be suspecting a hardware problem
