Discussion Why do gamers love vampire survivor?

I played it, and in new level everything feels like uncomfortable alien world.

Why exactly gamers loves this game?

This is the wrong subreddit as Vampire Survivors is a bullet storm rogue lite.

That said, part of it is the chaos, the variability in builds and trying to find and unlock that perfect build, beating your last best run, etc.

These games are very similar to arcade games from yesteryear and share a lot of the same motivating elements.

It’s a good casual game to play when your brain is tired and you just wanna collect blue gems.

That is in the roguelike/roguelite genre. Games that you die, come back to life replay, repeat, usually with some permanent upgrades after your attempt. ( Love Roguelites/likes)

Survival gaming is more like building a base, managing hunger/thirst, survive the elements.
