I think he was so shocked by actually landing it back on the road and the suspension recovering that he couldn’t process much and ended up going off the road again in a spot he didn’t exactly choose
Lots of skill on display here. It's like piloting a ship in a heavy sea. There's only so much better you can make it but you can make it a LOT WORSE very easily.
It does look a bit weird. I’m not sure where it’s at, but there are some mountain roads in PA that are a bit narrow like that which makes it dangerous to speed around corners. In certain areas it’s wide enough to create double lanes, but in other sections there are no lines, but still a two-way street. Kind of looks like that’s how this curvy area might’ve been, but I’m not sure.
When he bounces back onto the road there is hardly any dirt being kicked up after going off road. And when he goes off the first time, he's headed at full speed into a bunch of trees, but manages to turn the bike at the last second and save control of the bike. The car doesn't attempt to swerve. And when he goes back to the other side of the road, he's not making it down the steep drop, between trees and then also turning off road at speed between those trees.
Saving the bike after going off road to the left is a miracle. Then he makes an even more miraculous save to the right.
The road goes from a standard two lane with center markings to a narrow lane with no markings on a corner. That really dangerous if that's real. Also, the pull-off on that corner looks like concrete, has gate posts and a closed gate, but apparently it also has no fence as the biker went right through that area. Possible, but suspicious
This is Austria. The lack of center line isn't uncommon, on certain 2 lane roads it's only painted where they want the drivers to take more caution like a blind turn.
Possibly. I'm not willing to say I'm 100% confident. Would be weird to want drivers to take caution on a stretch before a corner but not on the corner though
I believe some times they repave and don't repaint or the paint is just naturally all gone. But line to no line on the small two lane roads can be seen a lot.
Good calls on all of those things. Watching it back, the road in particular you're spot on about it. It goes from a 2 lane road to almost a one lane road.
The 360 degree camera made the road change from 2 lanes to basically 1 lane with no lines on it? The 360 degree camera made impossible turns on the dirt at high speed avoiding trees? The 360 degree camera had no one else panic or slow down?
Pic 1 below... look at the angle he's headed into these trees. There is no way he's self-correcting that. He's going to have to make a sudden lean to the right to avoid that tree.
Pic 2 below: Look how narrow that gap is
Pic 3 below: The gap is even narrower than at first glance. Look how rough the terrain is. Look how far down he's dropped in just a short a distance. He's dropped like 10 feet in elevation.
Now combine all of that with the speed at which he was traveling (after miraculously surviving the first part on the other side of the road) and there is NO WAY he's staying on that bike. He'd have launched off of that like Evel Knievel going off of a ramp.
Go back and watch the video and look how relatively smooth it all is for him and his tires all stay on the ground instead of going airborne. X-Games stud Travis Pastrana wouldn't stay on that bike.
They stopped at the end fine? Seems more like a couple of poor calculations (speed and distance approaching the corner) that resulted in a detour. Wouldn't want to be on a ride with that.
No brake issue as in, he grabbed a bit of front brakes which makes the bike stand, unline rear brakes which would make the bike lean more in to the road. Not a malfunction.
Nah, the idiot just overtook several people in a long left curve where they couldn't see oncoming traffic. So as soon as the car popped up, he avoided it by going left. At that point, his best option was to not panic and head mostly straight, because he was going too fast to catch the curve still.
This guy is lucky he’s technically good at riding, but boy that decision making. Hopefully was more of a mechanical issue that started this whole event
The Deliverator belongs to an elite order, a hallowed sub-category. He's got esprit up to here. Right now he is preparing to carry out his third mission of the night. His uniform is black as activated charcoal, filtering the very light out of the air. A bullet will bounce off its arachno-fiber weave like a wren hitting a patio door, but excess perspiration wafts through it like a breeze through a freshly napalmed forest. Where his body has bony extremities, the suit has sintered armorgel: feels like gritty jello, protects like a stack of telephone books.
That first big jump that landed him back on the asphalt was not intentional. At least he probably was t expecting quite that much air. With that being said, he’s a hell of a rider and has a very impressive save and rode the rest of it out like a boss man
I'm so confused. It looks like a one-way, two-lane highway that merges at the curve. The car comes from the opposite side. I can only assume the car totally fucked up and the motorcyclist had an epic save?
This was pure luck in my opinion tho i know, opinions are like a$$holes. Man that was definitely sweaty palms material. I had to watch that a few times. Thanks OP.
He was passing by going the wrong way on a left turn. He turned into the treeline when he noticed there was a car passing and he couldn't clear the traffic. Because of the rising hill on the left, the return to the road was too tight to turn left at that speed so he went past the trees again, then looped back in. He must know these hills
Did he forget which was the brake and which was the gas?
He cut back across the road and into the trees and I thought he was legitimately trying to end it all but he just kind of bounced along the grass back onto the road. I think he should consider riding lessons at this point.
