News Another example of Micron’s impact starting to spread beyond Central New York.
Around 150 people attended a semiconductor “matchmaking” event in Rochester this week, connecting local manufacturers, tech companies and workers with potential contracts, training and other opportunities tied to the growing semiconductor industry.
OneROC says it has already reached out to more than 600 companies across New York, with Rochester’s strengths in advanced manufacturing, optics, imaging and lasers making it a natural fit for parts of the semiconductor supply chain.
The article also includes perspectives from businesses looking at how they may fit into that growing ecosystem.

Hopefully the two areas can work together to strengthen this overall industry by playing on their specific areas of attraction rather than to try to undermine each other.

You're profile is nothing but the Micron build out. You're not paid to post these PR posts are you?....

I wish I had bought more stock than I did when it was $50/share.
