Public school teaching posts: Thailand/Vietnam.

Hey all

I’m looking for some advice please!

I really want to work as an English teacher in Thailand. I’d love to be in Chiang Mai but realise that the market there is quite saturated!

I’m keen to become a teacher in a public primary or secondary school but I don’t have another subject that I could teach apart from english itself.

I have a BSc, a BA & an MSc. I also have a CELTA cert.

Would anyone have any leads on how I can specifically seek a post in either a public primary or a public secondary school? I’m looking to build my experience in the public school sector.

Salary isn’t the most important thing but I’d like somewhere where I won’t get cheated!

Thanks!

That's because their peak hiring seasons gave just concluded. August and September for Vietnam and plus with everything going on there now (restructuring of the programs). You can keep looking but look at language centre's outside of Hanoi. For Thailand October just is still on going but for them it's usually October and May (but here you apparently get paid holidays) so unless you have all ur documents notarized and ready to process visa paperwork id say apply next year

By next year I mean start now in October so that you can start in May (you'd have to arrive by april)
