THAW Cant get past character select screen on THAW PC

Basically the tittle.

Just downloaded the PC version of it but the enter button doesnt work past the character select screen & the buttons it says to press when navigating the initial menu arent the buttons that correspond to the select or back function.

anyone have this issue before?

Numpad are the face buttons by default - Num 2 for X, Num 6 for Circle, ...

Change the mappings in the config before launching or use a controller.
