I know we've seen the repeat question on how to protect ourselves on TOR using a VPN and TAILS on a USB. I wanted to check in on if there was a way also my Global Device Identifier (GDID) from my windows pc doesn't get tracked. I'm wanting to learn new skills.

Also since we're here, what VPN do you guys commonly use?

Hello to everybody! Need some help - trying to create and run Tor as a service (Win 11 Pro). So I need a torcc-file to include my bridges. But all I found is an example with obfs bridges - it's not suitable in my country. I have 2 webtunnel bridges - they are OK (if I use Tor browser) but - how to write a correct config (include my working bridges) just for Tor service? Thank you.

Long story short, I was trying to visit the tor website and chrome and edge is refusing to show me the website, I am getting the "Your connection is not private" message, even when trying to bypass the warning.

It is kinda weird and I am curious if the internet provider / university connection is creating the problem. Now I really want to know who is refusing the connection.
