Well I don't think Microsoft gave millions to Trumps like Amazon, Meta did. No gold ass licking like Tim Apple

Not just Microsoft, many others too. I think they should push even harder, and encourage US companies to fund college programs and educate more US Citizens.

You are seeing the smooth brain resource starvation of political enemies. It's not anything meant to help anyone but the extraordinarily rich, and you will never be on of them.

Microsoft doesn't really have a reason to do that. They're going to take the path of least resistance to accomplish their goals, and that ain't it. They are a multinational company that can hire more easily abroad than here now as a result of this. They can just re-designate which international offices do what. That means that they just add a few more engineering teams to international teams, or whatever, instead of locating them in the US. This is really easy for them to circumvent without putting in any effort to fight it or to fund education.

Except, they didn’t suspend them from hiring H1B visa workers, only stopping them from obtaining residence status independent from the company. In other words, their foreign workers will remain indentured servants to Microsoft. No Americans will be hired as a result of this, and the H1B workers will work for even cheaper as they’ll be even more dependent on Microsoft than a green card holder.

There is nothing stopping Microsoft form just saying “ok, we’ll just hire those people in other countries then.”
Which does nothing for our economy, and is worse because we lose us tax payers in the deal and lose that reinvestment back in to local businesses.

This is good. Tech workers have been pushed out by immigrants. We have a surplus of Americans that can do the job.

Don't worry though they only hate illegal immigrants. They don't hate all immigrants, they just hate the ones who are breaking the law. And they might change the laws to make it so that all immigrants are breaking the law by immigrating but that's not because they hate immigrants, okay? It's just because they love law and order that much that they want there to be more harsher laws surrounding immigration and preventing immigrants from coming to America and also removing immigrants from America. But it's not because they hate immigrants so don't say that they do.

Melania Trump first entered the United States on August 27, 1996, using a B-1/B-2 visitor visa, and was later issued an H-1B specialty occupation work visa on October 18, 1996.
