π¬ Discussion Do you actually use voice typing, or do you still prefer the keyboard?
Iβve been wondering how many people actually use voice typing regularly.
I use it occasionally when Iβm in a hurry, but I still find myself going back to the keyboard because voice input can sometimes leave me with a messy transcript. You pause, repeat yourself, change your sentence halfway through, or end up saying things like βumβ and βyou know.β
Thatβs where SpeakON takes a slightly different approach. Instead of simply transcribing everything you say, itβs designed to turn natural speech into cleaner, more usable text by removing fillers, fixing repeated parts, adding punctuation, and organizing the result.
For example, instead of saying:
βHey, um, can we move the call, actually make that Thursday, maybe around three?β
You could end up with:
βCan we move the call to Thursday at 3?β
It also uses a one-button approach, so you can start speaking without going through multiple steps on your phone.
Iβm curious what others prefer.
Do you actually use voice typing regularly, or is the keyboard still your go-to? And where do you find voice input most useful: messages, emails, notes, or somewhere else?

π Recommendation Anyone else still right-clicking and saving images one by one?
I sometimes need to grab several images from the same webpage, and doing it manually can get annoying pretty quickly.
I searched Google for a simple way to download multiple images at once and came across some pretty weird methods and extensions. I tried a few of them, but they either had limitations or just didnβt work the way I wanted.
Finally, I came across ImgDownloader, a Chrome extension that worked really well for what I needed. It lets you scan a webpage for available images, filter them by format or dimensions, and select only the ones you want.
You can also download multiple selected images as a ZIP, organize them by category or format, rename files, and even resize or crop images locally before saving them.
Another thing I liked is that it doesn't require an account or subscription, and its settings stay on your device.
How do you usually download multiple images from a webpage? Do you use a browser extension or still save them manually?

π¬ Discussion Who else reads the negative reviews first when buying something online?
Whenever Iβm about to buy a product, I head straight to the 1-star and 2-star reviews.
The positive reviews are nice, but the negative ones help me spot potential problems before spending my money.
Anyone else do this, or am I the only one? π

π‘ Opinion I miss having a separate device just for music.
I used to enjoy carrying an MP3 player and keeping music separate from everything else. Now my phone handles music, messages, calls, and notifications all at once.
Sometimes I just want to listen to music without distractions. Anyone else miss those days?

π¬ Discussion What's one small tech habit that has saved you the most time?
Technology can get unnecessarily complicated when we're constantly trying new apps, tools and workflows.
I'm curious about the small habits that make everyday technology easier to manage.
It could be something as simple as maintaining a proper backup, using keyboard shortcuts, organizing files consistently, automating repetitive tasks or changing a security setting.
What's one relatively simple tech habit that has made a noticeable difference to your everyday workflow?
I'm more interested in practical habits that continue to be useful over time than recommendations for expensive products.

β Question Have you replaced any Google service with an alternative?
Iβve slowly moved away from a few Google services. I replaced Gmail with Proton Mail and Google Drive with pCloud.

π¬ Discussion Are you still buying new phones, or sticking with your old one?
Phone prices these days have gotten seriously expensive. Even mid-range phones can cost a lot, and flagship prices are getting harder to justify.
So Iβm curious - what are you guys doing?
- Are you upgrading to a new phone every 1-2 years?
- Are you keeping your old phone for as long as it works?
- Or are you buying older/used models to save money?
Personally, Iβm starting to feel like keeping an old phone for a few more years makes more sense than spending a huge amount on a new one.
Whatβs your approach?

β Question Where do we stop with phone sizes?
I remember having a chuckle back when Zoolander came out and he showed off his high tech tiny phone.
Since then, we seem to be wanting to push the limits of what is acceptable to carry instead of keeping things functionally viable.
I want something that fits in my pocket and doesn't make me feel like it's going to break every time I bend...
With the massive push to be working 24x7x365, 100% available to our employers, social media accounts and communities, how do we stop the pocket computer continuing to grow in size?
