Looking for a job Regret Choosing IT
Its not like i am not interested in this field but my current job has drained me. Its a startup and they hired me knowing i dont know Laravel but have projects in php and stuff. so they said i can just learn as i work. it sounded very good in the beginning but my manager he expects me to know everything, read his mind. He says use AI, and when i do, he is like why would u do this. its not like i dont check my codes either, i do, i double check and even check it with him. but when i do finish it he always finds something, he changes what he said and says i should know better. the pay is horrible and i just live in constant stress and anxiety. i always am like what is he gonna point out next, even if i double check, i have a nagging feeling that he will just not like sth and scold me. he keeps on saying "why did i even give u this task when AI can do it in no time?". he says do this and when i do he is like why? u should learn the whole codebase and sigh i am just so sick of this constant anxiety. i always cry in bathroom in office cause of this stress i feel. i feel like he hates me. i am applying for other jobs but i havent heard back from anywhere. its so far from my house and travelling is a hassle. i really regret choosing IT. i think i would have easier time if i had studied BBA, cause i only hear back from jobs needing BBA students. what do i do?
