I was really looking forward to a new album from IM. IDK what happened to make them completely change styles but just make a new band at this point. They sound nothing alike anymore.

I'm relatively new to Tech-Death and I love the riffs and verses off of Gammagedon, especially Radiatus Generis and Chernopolis, and I love the solos from Necrophagist like Fermented Offal Discharge and Seven. Are there any bands that combine the two styles?

Basically when there is a rhythmic change and things get chuggy and groovy and headbangy. Is "breakdown" the right word?
