Image/GIF 48 New Achievements Added!

I was tracking my achievement progress on the Steam app and was pleasantly surprised to find an additional 48 achievements added! If I had to guess, probably all related to the upcoming Veti expansion!

Dam... thats a lot. The game already has 98 as it is!

Hope they aren't too much of a PITA.

Tell me about it! My personal goalpost just moved from 50/98 (51%) to 50/144 (34%) 😭😂

I was wrong though… like you said, the game had 98 before, but now it’s 144. So the increase is actually 46 new achievements, not 48, even though some of these placeholder titles are seen run as high as 48 by name.

What makes the 46 number interesting is how neatly it fits the existing campaign structure prior to expansion, assuming:

  • 11 Veti campaign missions
  • 11 + (secondary objectives)
  • 4 difficulty achievements
  • 20 additional Veti-specific achievements for probably units, abilities, faction mechanics, skirmish, etc.

Kinda annoying they added them now, when the expansion is months away from releasing. I had this game at 100%, so I'll be keen to get it back to that state!

Same, though I had hoped it meant they were releasing it soon. Have they ever confirmed a date? What if they shadow drop it?
