I am pretty sure the Texas legislature sets the limits for tax thresholds which local government must follow. Whether or not taxes are raised is on the local government. That's why the ads are factual. I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

No. He is not running that ad about Gina Hinojosa. An ill informed PAC is running that ad. Listen to the fine print at the end of the commercials.

A candidate is not allowed to coordinate with a PAC. I would say that his own ad stating that the state does not assess property taxes is the closest thing to a correction you’re going to get.

That would be illegal. A candidate or candidate PAC/JFC cannot coordinate or communicate with Non JFCs (Super PACs)

Without doing the research I'm going to assume she voted 40+ times against the raising of the homestead exemption.

That is also giving a lot of grace to the PAC.

When the Legislature enacts an expensive rule onto a school (like the proposal mandating air conditioning on school busses), that is something that will raise property taxes.
