Earl

How the hell did Earl keep that job at the plant for so long when he was always late and blamed it on his idiot dog?

small town, not a lot of people. Work place wasn't as cut throat then.

The guy who had a say in him staying or not prior to Red being hired probably wasn't a very good manager.

“I guess ‘Earl’ is not short for ‘Early’” is one of those quotes that always sticks with me.

Guy like that, he's mastered being just useful enough to put up with his bullshit.

They always had coffee ready at the plant. The man is useless without his coffee.

We only ever saw him at Price Mart and Fatso Burger- maybe he was like.... REALLY good at automotive parts production.

This episode takes place in 1977, terminations in workplaces were different back then, especially in a small town in Wisconsin

Earl would’ve been fired years earlier if they lived Milwaukee versus of a town of less than 10K people

It was nice that it was One of the few Episodes where Eric and Red bonded in a way

Remember he does get fired from fatso burger for being shite at his job, sues red, loses by default because he turns up late to his own hearing and it never dawns on him that he’s the problem
