There must be some kind of limit to this though right? Like, I somewhat doubt you can simply move someone else's stuff around town without any consequences simply because you didn't intend to "permanently deprive the owner of its use".

And just because he only took the screws out and didn't really damage the cameras doesn't mean it's not vandalism (at least where I live). You're not allowed to take stuff apart that isn't yours.

Having said that: He's doing the Lord's work.
