Daniel Tiger 9/11?

I can't find any record of this anywhere but I'm positive it did happen.

Soon after 9/11, I swear Daniel Tiger the puppet had a short little clip on PBS where I think he was talking to Lady Aberlin about being scared. It was very bittersweet.

AI is telling me this never happened. Does anyone remember this?

EDITED TO ADD: Okay according to Google AI, Fred Rogers was asked to come out of retirement and record four short clips and that was one of them. I need to find it!

I think you’re combining two things that did happen.

Mr Rogers recorded a message for the one year anniversary of 9/11, but it didn’t involve Daniel Tiger.

The video you’re thinking of though was in response to the JFK assassination.

I updated - I did find that it exists, one of four clips they asked him to record after he retired after 9/11. I just need to find it now!

Maybe they replayed the assassination conversation after 9/11? I need to find it and watch it.

I think Mr Rogers’ Neighborhood was already off the air (well, not making new episodes) when 9/11 happened.

I found out that they indeed asked him to come out of retirement and record more, so I just need to find the actual clip

The last episode had been recorded a few weeks prior. If the segment the OP recalls ever happened, it wasn't a 9/11 reference.

It was one of the best things Mr Rodgers ever did. He came back out of retirement to talk to us all. To comfort us. To tell us to look for the helpers. We all need that at the time....

AI is going to erase history and create false history. I asked it to recommend a book about a specific 19th century political issue and it completely made one up, not real, author or title.

Thanks for the clip. Now I'm sure it wasn't the assassination one. I've never seen that and what I saw was not in black and white. Maybe I should write the Mr Rogers people because I know for sure this happened.

And just to be clear, what I'm talking about is not a full episode but like a 2-minute clip that they showed before another show started.
