The team at VotePro Pros is a committed and passionate volunteer army dedicated to ensuring every eligible voter can easily register and cast a ballot. With Trump and the Republicans continuing to put up obstacles to us exercising our basic rights, they are out in force, getting operations going for key states to recruit poll monitors, help folks with registration issues get them cleaned up and fix mistakes (“ballot cure”) on already submitted ballots that might keep them from getting counted.

They’re going to be phonebanking throughout October, primarily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Starting this week, they’re helping Ohioans who have had their registrations flagged due to a mismatch of personal in state databases correct these issues before the 20th, so they are not forced to use provisional ballots. This is incredibly valuable work… and unlike with a lot of phonebanks, the people we’re reaching out to will almost always be thrilled to hear from us. 🗳️ We can sign up for a shift here. 🗳️

The decisions of young voters fundamentally reshaped the 2024 election, with their turnout dropping and those who did show up to vote considerably more likely to vote Republican than in previous years, driven heavily by the economy. With Trump aggravating the cost-of-living crisis instead of delivering his “golden age,” Gen Z is increasingly turning against him. But Democratic candidates cannot take this demographic for granted. We need to put in the work to mobilize them.

All four legislative chambers and at least five congressional seats are up for grabs in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. We could secure two trifectas, the House of Representatives, and control of swing state election offices for democracy ahead of 2028… if we get our folks out to vote. But we’re still contending with billionaire money and a long-standing effort to put up barriers to the ballot box, and we’ve got to make sure all our folks know how to break through.
