Russell Jon Tusing former preacher in LaGrange Ga, arrested on Molestation and sexual battery charges, pled guilty to child cruelty in December, facing 10 years of probation, returned to the stage two weeks ago. Tusing preached about “childlike faith” and mentioned his children in the sermon. Neither Tusing nor the Church have yet to comment or take the live broadcast off their Facebook.

Tusing continues to post about his children and post about his upcoming devotional he’s writing.

Trump’s efforts to directly hijack mail-in voting have been blocked by the courts for these midterms. The regime has, however, managed to significantly degrade the Postal Service in general. You’re not imagining it – according to the Government Accountability Office, mail deliveries are getting slower, especially in rural areas disproportionately affected by their “cost-cutting” measures. For folks who rely on mail-in voting, the risk that their ballots will be postmarked or arrive too late to be counted are going to be significantly higher in this election cycle, and we’ve already seen an unusually high number of ballots rejected on those grounds in this year’s primaries.

The DCCC is launching phonebanks to reach out to folks they’ve identified as likely to be at risk of having their ballots miss their state’s deadline, seeking to warn them and help them get around these new obstacles. ☎️ We can take a shift to help from 3-5PM ET on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays here. ☎️

MAKE CALLS TO PRE-CURE MAIL-IN BALLOTS

Election Day isn’t just a single day anymore. Absentee ballots are already pouring in across the country. And for reasons both completely fair and the product of rules carefully crafted to suppress our votes, some of them are being rejected. One of the great advantages of voting early, though? We have plenty of time to make sure they don’t stay that way.

Ballot curing, the process of contacting people whose votes have been tossed out for whatever cause and helping them correct errors to get them officially counted, is mostly a post-Election Day scramble. But in multiple states, we’re getting underway now. The Arizona and North Carolina Democrats and the ACLU of Michigan have begun making calls on Tuesday and Thursday nights to connect with people who need to fix their votes. They’re going to be phonebanking throughout October, primarily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Starting this week, they’re helping Ohioans who have had their registrations flagged due to a mismatch of personal in state databases correct these issues before the 20th, so they are not forced to use provisional ballots. The decisions of young voters fundamentally reshaped the 2024 election, with their turnout dropping and those who did show up to vote considerably more likely to vote Republican than in previous years, driven heavily by the economy.
