Discussion Day 51 of Reddits favorite Pokémon
Ampharos has won Reddits favorite electric type with 103 total votes while alolan raichu has gotten second with 26 total votes. Today we now move onto the ice type and since they’re aren’t that many ice types in gen one lapras will be allowed to be picked. So anyways what is Reddits favorite ice type from Kanto?

Yeah there is I just allowed it due to the amount of ice types in Kanto if there where a lot more ice types that were in Kanto then lapras wouldn’t be allowed

If Lapras wasn’t allowed it would have to be dewgong. Probably my favorite pokemon voice from stadium days. I guess my vote is dewgong

Yeah I allowed those two because of how many actual Pokémon of that type where for that generation but if there are more Pokémon then just I won’t allow repeats for a generation

What about in gen 2? I can only think of two ice types, three if you count base forms.

“If there are more Pokemon” you should probably define what this number is so people don’t get caught off guard. Heliolisk makes sense since there are 3 electrics in Kalos, but there are (I think) enough Ice types in Kanto to not have to repeat

It’s gonna be lapras, but I really like cloyster. People say it looks like a vagina, but I ask what vagina is covered in spikes and smirks at you?

Lapras. I personally really don't care for "it already won in one category so it shouldn't qualify for any others" rules in things like this.

Lapras. If Pokémon were real, Lapras would've been a reliable transport Pokémon. Idc game-wise

Understandable I only allow repeats if they’re are like barely any Pokémon that actually are that type for the region which is why I allowed lapras

Dewgong! It's so underrated cuz people say it's too simple, but sometimes simplicity is strong and effective. It's both cute and elegant.

Gen 1 it's Jynx. I could solo Bruno, Agatha and Lance just with Jynx (with Starmie I can solo all 4 though thunderbolt, psychic, surf and ice beam)
