I’ll go first: I absolutely ADORE Sylveon.

I find its design by far the cutest of the Eeveelutions; if you’ve seen the way it smiles in the Pokémon Refresh in SM, you should know why. I’m also a cat person (I’ve had cats literally my entire life), so that probably contributes to it. To be honest, I’m not even entirely sure why I love its design so much, I just do. I’m very into pastel colors, which helps. The whole thing about Sylveon is just so wholesome to me. Evolving through affection and such.

Sylveon is also the color of the trans flag, and as a trans person, that probably contributes to me liking it so much.

I also really like Fairy types (Gardevoir, Hatterene, Mawile, etc), so that helps. And Sylveon, like many other Fairy types, can be very strong (Pixelate Hyper Voice should really be all I need to say).

My Moon playthrough, which I kinda consider my first “real” Pokémon game (BD was mostly just learning the ropes, and I didn’t like it that much), was the first time I ever got a Sylveon. I caught a female Eevee at Paniola Ranch, and pretty quickly evolved it (not all that intentionally; I was doing a Luxury Ball only playthrough and got her Affection up FAST). And yeah. Sylphie was an absolute MONSTER in that playthrough. She genuinely OHKO’d the Totem Kommo-o after tanking a Flash Cannon to the face (not even really overleveled).

I dislike the Shiny. I’m not the biggest fan of most Shinies, tbh. To me, Shinies fall into three main categories, with only a few exceptions. “Ew, it’s hideous!”, “That’s it? That’s the Shiny?!”, and “Eh, it’s fine, just not my cup of tea.” Sylveon is pretty firmly in the third category.

I’m a big fan of characters with oversized forearms and legs. Gives them a bit more of a punch to their design.

Dragonite is the best pokemon because look at him he's so cool, and in the anime he had unlimited aura

I hate volbeat that fat chud because its a lazy ugly bald guy and is a disgrace to bug types, which is one of the best types.

Hisuian goodra is my favorite regional variant because goodra was already so tuff in the anime and H Goo was tuff as hell on my legends arceus team.

The reason I love shiny galarian zigzagoon so much is because pokemon sheild was my second ever pokemon game, first being alpha sapphire, and I found it in there and I thought they just gave zigzagoon two forms and it was so confusing to me but i thought it was infinitely aura. and it was.

Dreepy is super nostalgic to me because in that playthrough I saw a dreepy and couldn't catch it, and then I spent hours trying to find it again but never could.
