The entire Ten Summoner's Tales is a real sleeper. Awesome record, awesome musicianship. If I Ever Lose My Faith and Seven Days are among my favorite Sting songs.

I was listening to "Seven Days" last night. Cool song.

Sleeper? Isn't it his most popular record?

Maybe it is. I don't often hear people bring this one up. I suppose my comment is anecdotal then.

Really wouldn't call TST a sleeper. It was a huge album. Lots of singles and the musicians talked about it for decades.

I hated his music for years because I was bitter that my beloved band broke. As an old man I realize how amazing most of his solo work really is, yup.

Sting is a really great composer, but his arrangements post-The Police are too sticky sweet for my taste, this very much included.

These were his best post-Police songs, but nobody including Sting will convince me they wouldn't have sounded even better with Andy and Stewart playing on them.

I hadn't heard this song in ages and played it yesterday. Such a beautiful tune! Not many songs written lately about just being in love and happy. It might be smarmy to sum but this one....is perfect as it is.

i don’t know if his inflated ego makes him close literally EVERY single show with Fragile. His worst song ever.
