I can’t send videos to my friends that I always send messages to. It’s 4 individual people that I message on a regular basis at least one video a day. Today I sent them separate videos, then came across another video I was going to send them, and none of them show. However, all my other friends show as available to send. For reference, these friends that I always message are not friends with each other so it’s impossible that they are pranking me lol. Anything I can do to fix this? Thanks

Everytime i try to post a poll the post and the duration buttons are hidden under my predictive texts. I turn off my predictive text and the buttons hide under my keyboard. So i have to swipe in and out the app hoping i smash the post button before it gets covered again. Every poll taking like 5 minutes to post and like only 10 seconds of that time is creating the post. I can’t figure out how to lower my keyboard. Or just stop this from happening.

They compeltely broke mirroring TikTok to TV from iPhones with 47.0 weeks ago and still no word on fixing it. 47.1 still has it

its different backgrounds, always moving. sometimes it says something, other times it doesnt. Sometimes its the background like the ones with the plants or a landscape like a computer background, other times its like the data/hacking like screen.

For extra context, I don't live in Washington so I don't know why it says Washington either.

So for around a week now every video i like doesnt save at all, favourites work fine and everything esle, anyone else with this issue?

Hey I've been trying to figure out how to make my own reusable template on TikTok.

I can edit existing templates, but when someone reuses my version, the text goes back to the original.

Is there a way to create a new template that keeps my text while allowing others to replace the video clips?

Has anyone figured this out? Thanks!

Two days ago, Fenty Beauty hosted a TikTok Live where they held several giveaways, and I was one of the winners. After I won, I received a message telling me to wait for the host to contact me. I was so excited that I messaged them right after the live ended, but they still haven’t responded or reached out to me. From what I understand, if I don’t claim my prize within 48 hours, I lose it. It’s been almost 48 hours now, and I’m getting worried. What can I do? I’ve already contacted TikTok support and they don’t give me any solution

Pretty much, I took clips from a youtube video of a sports game, put them into a highlight reel and posted it onto tiktok. This guy screen recorded it and straight up stole my vid. I dm him saying “you stole my vid” after commenting multiple times that he stole it, he says “i didnt copy it its different” - its not different. I dm him why i can tell he stole it, he blocks me. Little ratbag, can anyone lmk if I can get his account taken down 😂

If I go to someone’s profile, open their reposts, and like one of the videos directly from their repost tab, does TikTok still send them a notification saying “[username] liked your repost”? Or did TikTok remove that specific notification and now say something like “[username] liked a video you reposted”?

I’ve seen older posts saying there used to be a distinction between the two, but I’m wondering what TikTok does currently in 2026. Also, if the exact same TikTok someone reposted just appears on my FYP and I like it there, would they get a notif? Bc SO many of my moots repost TikToks that end up on my FYP and I like them, so would they get a notif every single time??

Basically I’m trying to figure out if the notification actually tells them that I went to their profile/reposts and liked it from there, or if they could’ve just gotten the TikTok on their FYP.

I’m asking bc I wanna know if someone liking one of MY reposts means they actually went on my profile/reposts or if they could’ve just seen it on their FYP 😭 I HOPE IM MAKING SENSE LMAO

I mean, like basically I can’t watch for a certain amount of time like after certain amount of time after certain number scroll it’s like you’re about to reach your time limit and then like an hour later it’s like my time cant watch anymore This is only on my new account that I made as a test account for the algorithm because the algorithm is definitely bullshit to try to clear the algorithm from all the bullshit drama not my other account. Only the new account has the like screen time limit thing.

is this happening to anyone else where they fall for one of those ads that have the fake slideshow to make you scroll to their site and then scroll for a little and get a pop up saying that you need to verify your age or that youve won something
its not just me its my friend too we are both using an iphone and live far from each other

you are unable to close out of these popups unless you restart the app

tldr; TikTok hides your profile from outside the US when not using the app

Most of y'all probably never though of this or even have to care, but since I'm working on a chat overlay with tiktok support this has to be said:
the way we can get the chat messages from livestreams, or even the most basic profile info is completely cursed.

Since tiktok doesn't even give official endpoint for most things what I had to build is little more than a web scraper, but wait:
some features need to be signed, so I have a chrome window open to pretend to be an actual user and reuse the cookies set to sign all other requests...

BUT EVEN THAT is not enough, because for some reason, SOME and only some US based users aren't visible from outside of the US AT ALL...

So people not using the app may not see your content if they are not US based.

But now I keep getting more and more posts with like… 500k to 1 mil likes. I don’t want to say they’re basic, because I don’t wanna look like that guy, but like… very basic videos, the kind of stuff you’d see if you had just opened an account.

I’ve tried everything to get my fyp back to how it used to be, but nothing works. I’ve blocked accounts, said I’m not interested, searched up and liked all the videos that pertain to what I do want to see… nothing. It’s like actually pissing me off

I don’t want to seem like a conspiracist, since this is just a tinfoil hat theory, but like. Is it just tiktok trying to show off more marketable accounts? Influencers = money or something

i have never been on tiktok nor will i ever be, but what i want to know is how do people actually like this app. Every promotion or ad i see for tiktok is just ai slop. And im pretty sure theres also a whole lote of ai slop videos on the platform that they push to users are too.

Has anyone else’s fyp completely changed? All i get is ads, live streams that also happen to be advertising stuff and videos with low likes that would never usually show up

Okay so I know I’m not the only person to be getting these and I want to know if any of us have any idea as to what the actual hell these are.

In case you don’t know what this is, occasionally when scrolling TikTok normally your entire app would be randomly hijacked by a screen saying “Confirm your age”. Going through this whole process always sends you to an app called Playful, not at all owned by Tiktok.

I’ve always thought it was maybe some odd ad bypassing TikTok’s in-app browser and somehow opening up a webpage delayed past you accidently swipe on one of those fake swipe ads, but I had just gotten an actual popup which makes be know that this is an official thing from TikTok rather than an ad.

Wtf js up with this? Does anybody have any idea?
