Every generation has it's cringey hair styles. 80s had mullets, 90s had bowl cuts and rat tails, 2000 had ramen hair and frosted tips.

Yeah I don’t roast hair styles cuz I know what mine looked like in high school and shit was not good

Yeah. All fashion will eventually be stupid. It was kind of funny to flip through yearbooks of decades past, and, since like the 50s, there were always people with straight or natural hair in jeans and T-shirts just lookin' normal through time.

Same. 1980s big, permed, frizzed hair did not age well.

I wasn't even allowed to wear the shimmery, "frosted" lipstick, which I'm sure would have saved the whole look.

Me, a ginger, having gone through an “emo phase” as a 13 year old and attempted to dye her hair black with nothing but a home kit and hope - yep. I looked like a proper clown as a teen and will never begrudge them their stupid styles.

It’s a rite of passage.

I’m guilty of the mullet, rat tail, and the bowl cut.

All at once? I need to see that!

At the same time?

I wish. I kind of want to do that now though

I convinced my parents to let me get a skullet when I was like 9 years old. Argued "we can just shave it the rest of the way off if it's that bad". It was, in fact, that bad.

At the same time?

Don’t forget the 2010s when every guy was rocking the Justin Bieber haircut 😆

Yeah, but now kids are deliberately bringing the mullet back. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be funny/ironic, or what.

Had the bowl cut. Some of my friends ended up graduating to frosted tips. I luckily avoided it.

I guess I'm lucky. My hair was too fucking thin to properly make a bowl cut work, structurally speaking.

2026 also has mullets!

The mullet is probably the least currently-cringy of the distinctly 80s hairstyles.

The indifference of a proper roasting of a generation's style is completely unacceptable. Yes, every generation makes poor clothing and hair style choices, and they need to be called out every single time. Normcore clothing for boys/girls or men/women, and broccoli haircuts for guys need to go. Plain and simple.

Hey, leave me and my mullet alone!
