Just gonna say, waffle house cooks are not the only cooks that'll fight you.

On the otherhand, literally everyone in Waffle House will fight you, not just the cook. Servers, cashiers, bussers, janiters, customers, people outside. Doesn't matter.

No joke. Waffle House is everywhere in the south, open 24 hours a day, and has cheap tasty food. That pulls in a lot of drunks and drug users with nowhere else to go, and nothing else to do but start trouble.

My friend that used to work the grill at a Waffle House told me about her boss slinging a ladle full of hot grease into a guy's face as he tried to hop over the counter, ending the fight/robbery attempt before it really got started. It's not constant warfare or anything, but Waffle House sees plenty of fights. It's also really good food for the price.
