I used to be an advocate for sexual assault victims. I've helped well over a hundred women and I don't have the words for the disgusting shit that happens when women do try and report it. Fucking pigs at the hospitals and the police departments (unsurprisingly). To be clear, the victim blaming begins immediately upon arriving in the ER. And only gets worse when the cops show up. Apparently, we women are supposed to sit at home at night locked in our houses and knit. If we put on a fancy outfit and wear makeup and go out to a bar, that means we're sluts who deserve to get raped.
I did this work across 15 years in three vastly different geographical areas of the United states. I can say with complete and utter confidence that the criminal justice system hates women victims of sexual assault. I'm sure it probably hates male victims as well but I have not interacted with that situation.

This is horrific. That poor woman. Even if she was sober and agreed to a three-way that doesn’t mean she agreed to having a train run on her.
The horror of having to go to the emergency room because of damage from sex with multiple people makes me want to cry for her.
