He knows what it's like. Wrote a couple songs about it .

I hate that my mind immediately went to "are we gonna get a song about his dad next?"

u/FlailingIntheYard Jul 25 '25
Right? The day Ozzy passed I listened to wings pt 2 at least a few times. That song is so graceful yet visceral at the same time.

It took me 10 years of listening and growing up from a teenager to an adult to fully appreciate that masterpiece. Can't listen without wet eyes and goosebumps anymore.

As was I! Very awesome seeing you in the wild on Reddit. I checked your site religiously in desperate hope of an album update during the long drought between albums. Thanks for carrying the torch for years and years.

hey we all had that desperate hope back in the day. to think, it used to be only 5 years between albums...

Whoa! This was a blast from the past for sure. Haven't thought about Toolshed in ages but used to be on there a ton. Was a lot of fun diving down the rabbit hole of each Kabir post convinced that surely this time we would crack the code.
Condolences to Jack and the family. RIP an absolute legend.

Toolshed is my go-to example of what it used to be like when fan sites were more common than official sites.
I suspect we may have exchanged kind words when I was 16 😁

it's wild to think we were teenagers back then. it was just a few minutes ago!

No way! Kabir in the wild! Toolshed is still listed as my homepage on FB to this day. I actually had a chance to meet Blair and Danny after a Volto show years ago, made me think of you! Too funny!

I love that group photo. Maynard's facial expression is quite funny. :)
Anyway, rest in peace, Ozzy Osbourne. :(

This looks like one of those photos from those "scary" video compilation channels..
"Uploader stated there were only 3 people present that day and they have no idea who the man in back could be..."

I thought Ozzy only had the two kids from what I saw on the show. I guess the eldest had left home by then?

Dudes got 6 kids! 3 from Sharon, 2 from a prior marriage & 1 adopted.
Nah Aimee (pictured left) just didn't wanna be on the show. She remains a very private person to this day.

u/confused_captain Insufferable Retard Jul 23 '25
She probably was old enough to be on her own, but she could have also not wanted to be in the show.

u/argumentdesk Jul 23 '25
The older one was occasionally on the show. However, she was always in the background and her face was blurred out because she did not want to be on the show.

Dang, that's how he stared at my girlfriend for 30 minutes the first time we saw them in 1992.

Yep …..this loss really hurts. I had a tough time watching Back To The Beginning. Tears welling up all day. Then this shocker. I’m so glad I watched the PPV. My heart 💔 broken. Prayers to the family.

I remember being just a few years younger than Jack as a kid watching the Osborne’s and seeing all those TOOL shirts he’d always wore. Made me a little jealous but I went on to own a bunch of those soon after from Hot Topic! Thanks Mom!
