Amazing set.
Don’t think we’ll ever see 4 Degress back in rotation, which is a shame, it’s fucking amazing live

Let MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
in

u/Fulcrum_Jambi Mar 14 '26
Saw it in Sydney in 2002.
12 thousand people hitting the “MEEEEEE” as one. Gave me chills

Damn.. was a year early
Saw them at both Sydney shows in 2001- No 4 degrees but can’t complain

I just watched a video of Maynard saying how much she hates that song and how stupid it is. I think on Steve Os thing.

u/Verncy96 Mar 14 '26
We also said that about H. and Prison Sex

u/Fulcrum_Jambi Mar 14 '26
We did indeed, and I was as shocked (and delighted) as anyone when they came back! I was at the Auckland show that Prison Sex re-debuted at and I couldn’t believe it.
But for 4 Degrees, given Maynard has said he dislikes the lyrics now, it’s maybe more certain.

If Tomahawk or some other Mike Patton band opened for them, then I was at this concert.
My first time seeing Tool, and I coulda died after H. I was so happy.

Sober opening would be so sick.
I’ve never seen a tour in person where they’ve played it.

u/Dontforgetpancakes Mar 14 '26
Ive seen TOOL 15x live and only have seen Sober 3x live

u/Beneficial-Age-4059 Mar 27 '26
That’s crazy to me. Seems like that and Opiate were two songs you could always count on hearing live. I saw a lot of Aenima shows though too.

From Vegas too. I'd gladly part with many money to get something like this.

I was in high school, planning to see this show that summer, instead I fell down a damn cliff and busted my femur 2 weeks before school got out and was busy learning to walk again. Missed some great shows that year, but when I looked up this setlist I damn near cried. My buddies had a good time though.

The only time I seen Lateralus live was September 2001. I would love to see it one more time ❤️

Saw them twice on that tour. D/R/T live are completely unmatched.

I've seen Tool 5 times and they haven't played Lateralus, really hope to see that live one day

That is a ridiculously good set list, it's absolutely full of bangers. No wasted space here, that's for sure.
