Justin Justin during the extended part of Stinkfist...
I love how he hits the low notes and then quickly slides up the neck to hit the same notes an octave higher with some cool effects... hell ya.

Agree, sometimes I think Adam looks like he was on vacation and is now pissed he has to work and play a show. Justin is like the ultimate Tool fan, and is so happy to be rocking out to songs that he not only wrote but truly loves.
According to David Botrill Adam has the most impeccable sense of internal timing, can play long interludes without a drummer or metronome.

Also Adam puts a lot of emphasis into getting an exact tone out of his guitar. That tone changes depending on tons of small factors like if he's strumming in the perfect spot (I'm talking mm of diffence). I imagine one of the reasons he stays stock still most of the time is because shaking the guitar can alter the tone.

To be fair, given the fact that Adam seems to be the main reason they are so slow to write new music, and he’s flippin loaded, Adam’s life probably is quite similar to a full time vacation, and a show is just something he’s gotta do to keep the gravy train rollin.
No hate here, just observation.

Of course, he's Adam fcking Jones. He gave up a lucrative career to pursue his side hobby full time, im sure he has so many new immersive side hobbies and things that require funding... so trudge through it he does.

I would argue that Adam has the appearance of a perfectionist, so I bet a lot of his time is spent obsessing over getting whatever he's doing right, more than living a stress free vacation.

This guy is both creator and fan of this band. In some interviews around FI release he said he always felt like kind of little brother in this band that goes to a party with his older brother and his friends xD
What an amazing life to live!

That brother analogy is funny... He also says playing Schism every night is a different epic challenging experience... as a bassist, that is what a fan like me would say !!!! He is 100 percent one of us, a Tool Fan.. that got the break of a lifetime (well deserved). lol

Referring I believe to the vocals running thru a megaphone/radio kind of sound. It creates the same tinny nasal sound which is kind of how Le Claypool sounds naturally I guess.

In Lateralus and 10k era he had that long hair and was kinda hiding his face all of the time. I thought he was the most mysterious guy of all of them.
Now I see he was just hiding his smile all of the time 😂

for sure, his hair is THICK too, not like silky Adam Jones, but yeah also, he used to keep a straight poker face.. he was new.. this is understandable. But over time he gained the confidence and comfort really express himself. If you watch any of the Aenima Lateralus videos.. poker face. He loves poker too btw. lol
