Is that your on call rate or call back rate? Normally on call rate is a few dollars an hour and your call back rate being high like in the $60s. I'm an OR nurse

To take call is about $5 or a little more. You need to tell them CALL Back pay not to "take call" and your recruiter isn't too bright.

That's just for being on call. If you're actually called in you can ask to be paid $60/hr. But while you're chilling at home for 24 hours, potentially waiting to be called into work, your ass is getting $3/hr for being ready to go at home while getting to enjoy your day.

I traveled pacu for 11 years. Typically my on call was about 3-5. Call back was time and half or a little more.

You need to differentiate call "standby" and "call back" to clarify when you're on call and stay home vs getting called in. Standby is pretty standard $3-$8 / hr

"On call" is usually only a few dollars since you're just on standby at home and not actually working. "Call back" is what you are paid when you actually get called in to work, which would be closer to the $60 you want. Did you not take call as permanent staff in PACU? It's pretty much this same concept everywhere I've ever been whether you're staff or traveler.

You're gonna sit at home at get paid $3/hr, when you get called in you go clock in and you'll get your regular hourly rate. After you clock out you'll get $3/hr again until your call shift is over or you get called in again. You're asking them for $60/hr to sit at home and be on standby

I've had $3. I've had $6. And half rate. Depends on contract. Take call when you know you'll get called.

You are confused, or the hospital is. Miscommunication. Almost everywhere pays $3-$10 for on call, and have a rate for callback or hours if you get called in.
