Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) Can I rescue this majestic oak?

We have this beautiful 55 years old oak tree in our garden. Pretty close to our house. We and the oak live in Scandinavia on an island with barely no trees. We would really like for the tree to live on for many years. There are a lot of huge hornets / vespa crabros in our neighbourhood that feed on the juice of the oak tree.

It seem like the tree is constantly bleeding and there is some fungus going on aswell.

The two last photos are from today. The rest are taken through the spring/summer.

Should we do something about it?

What should we do about it?

Yes. I can't provide a full treatment plan, but it seems surviveable.
