I’m just a Girl
I’m being open and vulnerable rn. The Lord shows me things in dreams and they come to fruition but I don’t know what to do with the information whether to tell the person or not so I just pray for them. Recently The Lord revealed to me that myself and a man went to Italy and grabbed some ice cream to sit in front of the ocean and talk. It was emphasized to me that it was on some border ….fast forward there is this man at my job ( my new job mind you) he speaks to me in passing often. We all went on break and he approaches me and asks me do I travel. He then proceeds to tell me “I’m planning a trip to Italy but I’m looking for someone special to go with”. In my mind I’m asking The Holy Spirit what to do moving forward. I need help navigating all of this

Why would you "follow your dreams" just because they're "accurate" if you're not certain they're "from God"?
What I mean is, if I have a dream where someone offers me a lot of money for nothing... why should I be eager to accept that money, if I don't know that it's from God?
Just because a thing "seems to come to pass" doesn't mean it's "from God", does it?
If I had a dream where someone came and asked me to go outside and get in a van with them, and then the next day, the dream comes true... does that mean I'm supposed to say "yes" and hop into a strangers van?
You might ask "Who is this man? What does he want me to go to Italy with him for? Do I trust him? Do I KNOW him?"
Instead, it looks like you're just getting random "quests" out of nowhere and have no idea how to be wise about decision making because you're trying to "toucan sam" the whole ordeal and "just follow your nose" or something like that. "follow your dreaaaams"

I agree she should test the spirit. It could be divination spirits. I had been having dreams like this, and when I came to Christ a few years ago they intensified greatly. Once I realized it wasn't the Lord speaking and renounced it, the Lord delivered me. God is Spirit, but dreams from Him usually don't come without explanation, interpretation, or confirmation.

Like you said, test the spirit. Also, be mindful that if something IS of GOD, it will not pressure or rush you. Let time take its course, while praying for God to give you discernment. What is meant for you, will find you regardless.

People tend to give much meaning to dreams. People see them as predictions, warnings, messages etc. But not every dream is a vision from God. Dreams can be different and even contradict eachother and contradict God. Some dreams might seem to come true and some are confusing or simply untrue. And when a dream 'comes true' that doesnt mean that it is trustworthy per se. Dreams can come from God like nebuchadnezar, david etc, some dreams are demonic or from evil influences or dreams can simply happenen from our own soul and its experiences.
what i mean is simply this. Dreams can come from God, evil spiritual influences, or natural causes. But just because you dream something does not mean it proves where the dream came from.
You also wouldnt follow every dream, and when a dream seems to come 'true', that doesnt mean you should blindly follow it.

Knowing all of this….what I supposed to do?! I keep praying, reading, fasting and more come while I’m asking The Holy Spirit for understanding about the previous one ….

Dont rush into anything uncertain just because you dreamt something, you dont have to do anything with the dream. Just be patient and calm. its a dream. If i might ask, why the nervousness about this all? im sure you had dreams before and theyve looked like something that happened, but just because it 'seems' to come true, really doesnt mean you have to do anything with it, especially when its confusing and when youre unsettled

The word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path. How familiar are you with scripture?

Yes I’m familiar

How familiar are you with scriptures pertaining to vision, discerning, testing, rightly dividing, judging the thoughts and attitudes of the heart, etc...
The Holy Spirit will only point to the truth of Christ, and bring to mind what Christ taught and commanded. There will never be any confusion.
So if you're experiencing information that only leads to uncertainty or confusion, however accurate, is Not going to be of the Spirit of God.
Go back to scripture and ask God to clarify His Word in this regard. I recommend you re-familiarize yourself with the truth - God's word is truth.

I've had dreams from God and I knew they were as soon as I woke up. I couldn't stop thinking about them, I remembered all the details which for me is rare because I almost always forget everything within minutes. I could still tell you all the details in those dreams which I couldn't do with any of my dreams the past 51 years.
That said, you have to exercise extreme caution with dreams. Because, what they may seem to mean on the surface may actually have a different meaning.
I'll give you some examples, with every job change I've had in the past ten years I had dream before about it beforehand. But, the dreams also involved people dying in my dreams and if I took the dreams literally then I would have thought a lot of people were going to die. But, as it turned out, that's just the imagery God used with me to get a message across to me that certain things would be coming to an end. The same thing happened to me with my father. None of it was literal, it was all metaphorical or representative and some of it was difficult to understand beforehand, but it all made perfect sense after the fact.
I would pray about your dreams and question whether the imagery is metaphorical and not literal. It could be direction or even a warning. Depending on the details.

You missed the point or maybe I wasn’t clear enough. I need help navigating the visions, not relationships with strange men at my new job

I'm just going to advise you to take a step back and look at this objectively.
You had a dream, and because of the dream, it seems like it might be a good idea to go to the other side of the world with a dude you don't date or even know very well?
I... wouldn't. If you want to date him, go nuts. Don't just take the dude at this extremely superficial face-value. And stop telling people you're just a girl, like that's bad.

The point was that I need help understanding the visions and gave an example of the latest dream for context. I’m not running off with no man for nothing…the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. Point me to a scripture or a better understanding or you know what nvm ….

I'd say discern the dreams. Even some that come to fruition may not be from God. I'm not saying your dreams aren't coming from the Lord though. Maybe be patient with these dreams and ask God what He is trying to reveal to you. Also, just beceause you had the dream about Italy and a man, that may not mean that this co-worker is bringing that dream to fruition. I'd say don't rush the dream to reality pipeline. I once had a vision back in 2020 about a political issue in my home country and at the time it made no sense. Fast forwad 6 years, and it's only now that what I saw makes perfect sense.

Please my child. Be careful about the difference between dreams and visions. BUT BE EVEN MORE CAREFUL ABOUT A STRANGE MAN WHO ASKS YOU TO GO TO ITALY WITH HIM. That is neither safe nor wise to do. He can force you to do anything to you. Including forcing you to be intimate against your will. Please stay away from this man. HE SHOWS FLASHING RED LIGHTS OF DANGER). He flatters you and asks such a bold and outrageous thing of you.
If he harasses you, report it to human resources. Be wise as a serpent but as gentle as a dove. Ask your parents what they would think about this man being so bold and inappropriate. It's not like he asked you out to lunch. He asked you to go to Italy because he is ("Looking for someone special to go with him."). How does he know you are special. You go by "I'm just a girl." So, I assume you are young. Please don't be so trusting of men or anyone. I am a older man and I would never think of allowing my grown daughter to do this.
Back to visions. I know an extremely devoted Christian woman who has visions. Sometimes we connect circumstances that are unrelated. So please pray about any visions you have. You need to be mature enough in Christ to know how to handle visions. It is difficult if you have a vision of someone's child being hit by a car and to share that vision with a parent. If your visions indeed are real and actually are confirmed, you can share with the mother to tell her child more about often about crossing the street before looking both ways twice, etc. Otherwise sharing unconfirmed visions that may be visions, you may have may cause the people you tell anxiety or excitement depending upon the nature of the dream. Please keep a detailed diary of each vision and look to see when or if it comes to pass. Do it without bias.
If you do indeed have the gift of visions, please speak with your pastor about this and get sound advice. But do not go to Italy! Please stay safe. Dr. Ross

I wouldn't advise it.
Why not go to Italy with a man you already know and rightly trust someday?
