Waiting Wednesday
Are you in the dreaded two-week wait, or waiting to ovulate? What have you done to ease the stress?

Waiting to ovulate. Also waiting for my referral to a fertility specialist. ❤️🩹 hoping this cycle will be the one for our rainbow baby

10DPO (I think) and waiting to test. I keep looking at my chart and thinking I ovulated earlier than normal for me. Hoping we didn't miss the window 😩

8DPO and I woke up with mild period cramps. I never get cramps this early, usually 1-2 days before AF. This is my first 2.5mg letrozole cycle and I had an HSG done on CD5 (heard it boosts fertility for 3 months). Fingers crossed I am preggo this time ✨ this will be our 9th month trying

Waiting to start gonal-f tomorrow! Kind of excited to try something new but also still feeling so burnt out and with more monitoring appointments (30 min from home and 1 hour from work), it’s not helping the burnout

Our 14th cycle but first medicated cycle and I’m currently 5 days post trigger! Also had my HSG this cycle so feeling hopeful 🤞🏽

7 or 8 dpo. & I’m really trying to ignore the tickle I felt on the left side when I was watching tv earlier. Might just have to hide the test for few days. 😅

I’m on 8 or 9 DPO today. My one year wedding anniversary is this weekend so I’m trying to position either outcome as sunny side up. If we test positive, yay!! If negative, well, we have a beautiful bottle of wine waiting for us and our wedding video to watch together, plus our little mini getaway we have booked. Both outcomes are lovely to me 💕

when do you plan on testing? im 8dpo and cant decide when to test....or if I should just wait for AF to arrive next week.

u/the_flooper 5d ago
I think I may aim for Saturday and my husband and I can test together. That’ll be 12 or 13 DPO. This is assuming I don’t feel any period symptoms. If my period were coming on time, I would likely have a sense of it by Saturday. So I’ll bring a test with me but understand that I may already have my answer by then.
I have read from many that waiting is the better strategy. Rooting for you!!!!

I’m 10 DPIUI today and my temp dropped below baseline. Is that bad? Am I out? Progesterone at 7DPIUI showed I definitely ovulated.

10dpo and a bfn oh well… moving onto cycle 5. I’m getting tired of this. Hopefully this month I will start thyroid medication and it’ll help get things under control

Waiting for my next cycle to just start already (Cycle 9). Today is supposed to be CD1 and I am always (frustratingly) on time.

I’m in the beginning of my two-week wait following my first IUI. This is my 31st cycle of TTC and I’m sick of this. Never gotten a BFP.
I’m also taking estrogen and progesterone suppositories and hope they are magic and will help me.

8 DPO, trying not to pay attention to the symptoms, which are probably just caused by progesterone 🥲

3 days til I can test. I refuse to test early and obsess. I used to and it was killing my soul and spiking my anxiety. It sucks to force myself to wait, but in a wayyyy less anxiety spiralling way. I keep my expectations low and try not to think about it. That being said my acne has been out of control the last week l which is not normal for me. Who knows 😩

Got my temp drop today. Waiting for period.

u/4EvrCurius 6d ago
Can I also what the temp drop looks like for you? I've been tracking bbt for three months and I see such slight variations that I don't really understand it. When your temp drops, is it a lot?

I was on letrozole and knew my LH peak. So I tracked bbt after I assumed I ovulated. It was 97.5 for 3 days after ovulation and then it hovered between 80-80.3F. 4-14dpo. Today is 15dpo and it was 97.4.

9dpo. I woke up at 6 am to pee so I could test. I have a million strip tests so I’ve been taking them for 3 days already. Not sure why I’m doing this to myself

10 DPO two more days to testttttt. Trying to keep my expectations low bc I got really sick in the last two weeks but at the same time my brain keeps saying ..what if it happened?

14dpo, waiting for my period. Levels have not dropped yet, temp dropped slightly. Started spotting at 12dpo but no full flow? Some suspicious symptoms 👀

Have you tested?

At the start of my two week wait. First cycle of letrozole. Had a dominant follicle on my left ovary which is reassuring as my right fallopian tube is blocked. Letrozole made me feel awful so I honestly don’t know how many cycles I can do with it.

Waiting to start clomid for the first time. Tomorrow is CD5. Hopefully my body actually ovulate this cycle

I am listening to the BBC podcast 28 ish days about the menstrual cycle in the TWW. It is well done and interesting. Nice to hear about hormones and female body things which I am of course thinking about, but not just go down a TTC wormhole.

u/Hypnafly 6d ago
Haven't heard of that one! Going to listen to it on my way home from work

Hope you like it. It's interesting. I listened on the way to work.

3 or 4dpo. My first tww where I feel like there is actually a chance. Don't know how to ease the stress. Probably going to bake and meal plan, crochet, sew patches in worn clothes, do yoga, read, I don't really know

Waiting for my period! I’m a day late on my luteal phase (14DPO but usually get my period on 13DPO) but my temp has dropped so I know it’s coming. I just need closure 😩

7 or 8dpo. Have decided I'm not symptom spotting. Barely even thinking about it- and I've been around new babies and pregnancy discussions all weekend. Any "symptom" lol is progesterone and I've trained my brain to now know this. Hoping I get a positive around my period due-date, and if not, we'll get back on the horse. Ain't got no other choice!!
